My Story:
I have worked at Alma Street Pre-Prep for 15 years during which time I have worked as an assistant doing relief and special needs, the ‘settler’ and ‘cuddler’ at the commencement of each year, helping the little people to feel supported and loved each day. I am now part of the daily cleaning team. I have a Certificate III in Early Childhood and Education. My husband runs a Native Landscape business and I do the bookkeeping. We have two boys, Daniel and Matthew. Matthew came to Alma Street Pre-Prep as a 3 1⁄2 year old boy for 2 years. I love to paint and do-up furniture and am a keen amateur photographer. I love to photograph birds, wildlife and nature. We have 10 acres of land, with a small nursery which keeps us very busy. When we can we go camping, fishing, boating and enjoy the beach. I love working at Alma Street Pre-Prep and its sense of community. The fabulous staff are like extended family and I feel we all work well as a team to give the children the best possible start before beginning their journey onto school.
